Manchester United had some chances in which they could have improved themselves but they kept their poor performance bad. Chelsea's performance is better than Manchester United's because they are playing with good performance and hard work.
I think their poor performance is beyond their control because of you look at what the team is doing they are working hard to see the team improves but no one knows why they are not improving. They even went on to bring in a new manager but nothing still changes. As for Chelsea, they have been working hard to improve the performance of the team and they are lucky to have a coach like Enzo Maresca he has actually improved the team’s performance and we still believe it will only get better with time.
It is very unfair if you compare Man United with Chelsea this season.
I will not defend anyone but look at this,
- Enzo Maresca joined Chelsea and was able to recruit the players he wanted. Now the coach can bring Chelsea with a good appearance. That makes sense.
- While Amorim joined Man United after Ten Hag was fired. And Amorim has not brought in the players he wanted. So there is no other choice but to maintain the squad that has been compiled by the previous coach. This is clearly unfair.
In conclusion, the best result that Chelsea has achieved so far has become part of the coach's plan that is able to fight with his chosen players. And Amorim is only able to survive by rotating players perfectly to try his best in other competitions with the existing line up.
It is no one’s fault that Amorim joined at the middle of the season so it will be difficult to sign him players he is willing to work with. He was aware of the team’s problems and knew the players he would work with and still accepted to join them. The players at United are not so bad and a good coach should be able to at least try to get them to qualify for the Conference league or Europa league just as Ten Hag did last season. This shows that Amorim is not really doing well in my opinion even if he has not been able to sign players.
Are we arguing which coach is better or which team has been better this season. If we are arguing which team has been better then clearly it is Chelsea who have been the better team this season, they have a chance at finishing in top four at the end of the season if they can win more games from the remaining games left to play.
Of course Chelsea are clearly doing better and they are not comparable at all, being in top 4 race shows how well improved Chelsea are. If not for the injuries and drop in performance since December Chelsea should’ve been in the title race this season.
