I was too excited when I saw Bayern's performance after a poor season under Tuchel last season but wouldn’t this season be extra difficult after finishing third and a new coach with the expectation to win the league despite having limited experience compared to other coaches?
I know Kompany's performances haven't been perfect and I'm not saying he's a world-class coach, but given what he's achieved so far, he deserves to be appreciated.
Of course it is very appropriate for Kompany to get more appreciation if Bayern Munich can win the Bundesliga trophy this season because it is Kompany's first season with Bayern Munich so there is no reason not to give him appreciation if Munich really becomes champions in the Bundesliga this season.
