Competition has really become tougher this season in the Premier League. Especially in the battle for top 4 rankings. Because the top 4 position to the top 9 position is only 4 points different, there is also the potential for rapid ranking changes to occur in just two weeks. Moreover, the ranking positions from top 4 to top 7 are only 2 points different. So ranking changes can occur even in just 1 week. And yeah this really rarely happens actually. Because in previous seasons the top 4 rankings always made a difference to the other rankings below them. But not this season.
Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle and Brighton are still uncertain who will ultimately be ranked in the top 4 at the end of this season. But regarding Nottingham I feel they will really be able to maintain the top 3 ranking they currently occupy. Because even though the depth of their squad is ordinary, we know that the quality of their game is quite good this season, even strong teams are not able to beat them this season.
Too bad that this only refers to ranks 4 to 10 because I think the first 2 are set in stone at least to their final achievements. Liverpool will win the title and Arsenal will qualify for the Champions League, but it doesn't matter whether they drop a rank or not. From rank 4 to 9 or maybe 10 it is still a fierce fight, perhaps Nottingham can't stay where they are because they had some amazing results and I thought all the time that their great time could come to an end, but consistency prevailed so far. That would be a spectacular coup for them if they make it into the Champions League.
As much as I like it to be exciting till the end, it's never good for a league if the title winner is known months before the league ends.
