During loses, I do myself great good to move away from my device and step out, even if it entails hanging out with friends and grabbling a bottle of beer. Change of environment really helps to ease off pressure and calm your head for the next activity.
This is still unknown for most gamblers. They think that the key to relieve that stress is to gamble continuously and chase their losses.

Taking a break and going like what you have said really helps a lot. Whatever drink you can grab that you can sip on and have some moments for yourself.

If this is done, you'll have to think of what you have to do next. If you're up to get out and hang out with friends, better.

After losing in gambling, they think that the sooner they can recover their losses, the sooner they will be free from that pressure. But this idea makes them face a worse situation. One of the reasons for losing in gambling is not being able to tolerate losing in gambling. It is difficult to tolerate, those who gamble should definitely gain experience about the horror of such situations and gamble accordingly.

Taking a break from gambling not only protects a gambler from excessive losses but also puts them in a better position to make better decisions.
