I believe this is a very important topic that needed to be discuss by gamblers here because our actions dictates our future...

sometimes when we’re on a losing streak, we tend to get more aggressive in trying to recover our losses, but that’s often the reason why our losses grow even bigger, and in some cases, it can even lead to gambling addiction. So, who here actually takes a break after a losing streak? Or do most just keep going despite the losses?

there’s a poll for you to vote on, don’t forget to cast your vote!
After gambling losses, most gamblers take a break for some time, while some gamblers panic and continue gambling to recover their losses.  Gambling is something that makes a gambler completely control himself by the lure of money. So it is very difficult to find out how long a gambler can keep away from gambling after losing because most gamblers are seen to go back to gambling very quickly as long as they have money. They care little for the lodge. This is because gambling controls them in such a way that they always gamble with confidence even if they lose. i am not gambling addict so i gamble rarely and always keep myself in self-control

That's right taken a break when one is in a losing streak is a normal thing, but most gamblers will choose to continue gambling even when they're in a losing streak just like as you said.
This is the right thing to do and every gambler should learn this before they start gambling so that they will be always ready to enforce it when they gamble. It's not by force to continue gambling or gain back the losses on that very day, quitting to take a breath at that time will save revenge in gambling and will help the gambler take a deep breath to calm down.

Though sometimes it could be that they don't want to be considered as a weak gambler which is why they will rather continue gambling without regarding the fact that they are losing there money just so that they can be among those Strong gamblers.
This can simply be termed stupidity. How can you continue to lose and see it as a strength? Even failure is heroic most times.

Obviously it doesn't make any sense but the reason why I'm saying this is because I came across a post where a gambler was actually saying that given up in gambling is for the weaker, the person was actually a member of this forum. However, For the fact that one decide to take a break maybe when he's in a losing streak does not make him a weak gambler rather he just want to clear his head for sometime. Since we are not competing for any trophy, of course everyone has the right to take a break when they're no longer comfortable with it so far as it is not mandatory.

Think I have heard someone talk about that too but not a member of the forum, the person said if he give up after the plenty money he has loss in gambling that he has fucked up and so he decided to play no matter the loss but what he said makes sense and at same time it doesn't make sense imagine loosing plenty money and now saying you won't gamble again is a very big loss to that person, in gambling ought to use his or her head and always gamble with you can afford because the reason why some people chase after loss is because of gambling with what they can not afford to let go.
