The first question to ask is how do you plan to sell your coins.

Are you planning to sell on a day to day basis or are you more interested in mining an altcoin for a month to accumulate and to wait for value to appreciate.

For example if you mine a coin and its value is only 100 satoshis in a month its 1000. For every day you've mined while the difficulty was ~100 satoshi you would've made 10x per day of mining at the end of the 30 days.
