How old is Lewandowski but he is still scoring more and more goals. Messi can still play in Laliga, if he ever made the switch back to Barcelona. Inter Miami won't be in his way, I believe he Messi will see out his contract with Inter Miami before that time. I think he signed a two year contract with them, and I believe the contract will expire at the end of the current MLS season. If you have been watching Messi recently, you will see that the Man is still playing in the top level. Messi is not going to retire in the US. If Messi is going to retire where he's more revered, I think that's going to be Barcelona. Messi can't be more revered in Miami than he is in Barcelona.
I really don’t see any positives in teams of work rates that Messi will add to the team, the only benefit I see in signing Messi back to Barcelona is just commercial benefits. His signing will only boost revenue from jersey sales and match ticket sales that is it, Messi has just little to offer on the pitch. He’s return will surely mean he will be willing to accept a very heavy wage cut at Barcelona.
Nope, Messi returning to the team brings up some good progress, rather than revenue service but the first thing is that his returning to Catalonia is almost impossible because his age is too high, and secondly, his wages are too high, which I think is quite hard for the team who are dipping in the financial crisis. Beyond any doubt, Lionel Messi is such a classical player, and still he has a lot of capacity to play at a higher level. Like, for sure, he can play better than 39 years old Modric and 40 years old Ronaldo, but honestly, he didn't want to come again. Probably he will retire in MLS, and if he doesn't, then I'm pretty sure that he will go to his childhood club (New Boys)...
