Of course, you are free to sell anytime that you like, and you are free to try to play bitcoin's anticipated price wave, and so you seem to acknowledge that trading is an inferior approach to bitcoin, even though some people will end up trading rather than investing.

So, yeah, trading is like gambling, since we cannot really be sure how the BTC price is going to go in the short-term, such as an ability to be profitable in less than 4 years.

Sure, we don't even know if bitcoin is going to be profitable in a timeline that is more than 4 years, yet investing is not necessarily considering short term profitability.

Sure, investors still want to their holdings to be profitable in the long term, and perhaps even presume them to be profitable, but there is also a bit of a risk that a bitcoin investment will not be profitable, even after more than 10 years investing into it.

At the same time bitcoin is likely amongst the best of asymmetric bets that is currently available to people all around the world, and so sure it is possible that anyone could lose up to 100% of the amount that they invest into it, yet it is also possible that their investment could go up 10x to 100x or more within their investment timeline...  So to me, it seems short-sighted to be planning to trade bitcoin rather than to try to hold it for the long term, even though people will frequently be tempted to cash out for shorter-term profits.. which may largely signify that they do not know what they are investing (or trading) into..

Their's one thing I've got to understand about making wealth, most poor people are not very patient that's why you see that majority of people who go after ponzi's and stuffs with short-term goals are mostly poor people, the rich don't have time for that their focus is on the future and making sure that they keep being wealthy therefore they invest and do that for a longer period to get more profits in the future.

That's why many rich people who criticised Bitcoin in the past are now top investors in it, they had no option but to jump in after they realised it's potential and how good it is as an asset for investment, many poor people are still blind and eager to make quick money that's why they prioritize stuffs like trading and ponzi's to make wealth, well luck do play a role in the life of some people who chose those path but then everyone can't be lucky, the rich knows that and that's why the choose a path that's less riskier but requires patience which is investments.

Maybe this is the result of lack of education or experience. They tend to believe on what statement or action done by their seniors. That's why some of them fall on trading bad decisions or lose money on ponzi stuffs out there since we can't deny the promise of return is so appealing. I guess there's nothing to do if you are poor or rich here since I guess learning all about this will depends on what you encounter first when you came in this venture.

They criticized because they don't know what they are talking about and they are been tied up with traditional investment. That's common reaction to people and we should not buy it since it will be just a total waste of energy if we argue to them. That's why we better focus on our selves and let them learn Bitcoin either in possible hard or easiest way. Many people still blinded because ponzi offers are promising and not everyone is educated enough to determine that this is scam. That's why lucky for us to have this community because we learn lot of things and make us aware about long term(HODL) is better option and became educated dude to know what is scam and possible good offers here.
