I'm very curious to know of all the folks in here that gamble, did your parents gamble when you were growing up and is that the reason that you gamble as well? Or is the very reason that you gamble was because your parents shunned it? I feel like this could go either way. It could also be a neutral stance.
For the folks whose parents didn't have anything to do with it when did you start gambling and why? Do you have anything or any memories you'd like to share of past gambling experiences? Would love to hear
My parents are not gamblers and they are quite against it, but in normal life conditions I started to get introduced to gambling from friends so so far they have never known me to gamble. I am not one of those addicted gamblers and there is probably not much to explain and I started gambling when I entered college, it was completely influenced by a friend who at that time was quite addicted to football betting.
Maybe every gambler has had quite painful memories because I myself have had problems, where I used my college money to bet on Manchester United vs Liverpool and that led to my first loss in football betting.
