Frankly I'm surprised to see the bonus because I'm so inactive but maybe it is a way from Shuffle to attract inactive players to come back 
or maybe it is just a random bonus given to random users.
Without any doubt, it is a marketing strategy from Shuffle to make the inactive users active again. Most probably the marketing team sends this type of bonus to targeted users. Maybe they have sent it to me as I had actively played with deposits there before being inactive. I lost most of my deposits though. or maybe it is just a random bonus given to random users. I never saw things like these even losing some money ~XD I guess not enough VIP level for my account.
What is your VIP rank now at Shuffle? I was also dissatisfied with the bonus system of Shuffle until I reached the Silver VIP rank. Now I consider their bonus system as a decent one.
