Jiri VS Ankalaev is the fight that I really want to see after everything that happened. Jiri Prochazka is an amazing fighter. Just look at this guy's resume, he knocks out everyone except Alex Pereira. His defense, head movement and everything was significantly improved in his last fight against Jamahal Hill. Ankalaev is a boring fighter for probably everyone, so our best bet to make LH division great again is if the next fight is Jiri VS Ankalaev and Jiri wins. Then there will be the next fight against Pereira, where I really wonder who wins because Jiri is a type of guy that doesn't stop and constantly improves but this doesn't mean that there shouldn't be the next Ankalaev VS Pereira. In this fight, we didn't see the true winner, so the rematch is necessary. They either make Ankalaev VS Jiri or Ankalaev VS Pereira.
It would be a good story, but I believe that Poatan has more priority for this belt than anyone else. The fight would be good at another time, but Ankalaev and Pereira have scores to settle. So, I believe that this fight is a priority, only as a last resort should something else happen.
Whichever happens in the next UFC event will be good. But maybe they really will prioritize Ank vs Alex because this pair can make a huge money for UFC. If Alex though move to HW, I think there will be a big event too other than the rematch of Anka vs Alex. Dana still wants to have the super fight but exclude Jones especially in a fight he may potential lose.
