Well In as much I think I couldn't understand what you are trying to say but from the little I could understand not all investors who buy assets are consider long term holders, as an investor you most focus  more on  the part of long term strategy buying and hold strategy, while the traders are know for the short term market gains and their are active buying and selling and their are always best at using the technical analysis to predict price movements.
