It looks like Galatasaray is getting ready for busy summer of buying and selling players. They are very interested in Granit Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen which is surprising because he still has contract with his current team. But Galatasaray has a lot of money to spend so they might offer him good deal to join their team. They are also trying to sign Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge to play left back which shows they want to improve their team in many areas. If they can sell players like Barış Alper and Yunus Akgün they will have even more money to spend on new players this summer.
But where is that money coming from? They won't make a lot of money from an Osimhen transfer as they have a clause I think that would give them 10 million, but that is never enough to be aggressively active on the transfer market.
Maybe you can explain what a lot of money means to you and whether you know something about potential investors. Whether the time has come for Xhaka to go to a second tier league like Turkey is not certain yet. Xhaka has played 41 games this season, which makes him one of the most important players in the team. I doubt that they are already planning without him.
Here completely agreed with your view about this because I am feeling things are not going to be easy as many are expecting even in last two years good investment done by few top Turkish clubs but still they are not rich and solid to keep things on same level in every transfer window.
Budget is always important for them with things can go worse if they are going out of way I am not sure Granit Xhaka is coming here as someone feeling Galatasaray need to go with their sources and players which they are capable of bringing even Galatasaray is having good chance of going into Champions League but still situation is not ideal for them because they needed more consistency and improved quality. Injuries are currently the worst issue for many clubs, but many are not capable of handling this as they are not having enough sources which allow them to have suitable replacements.
