Well for me, I've actually given this a good thought, both seems the same, for example..

1. Watching bitcoin chart simply means the person must have invested in bitcoin and hoping for some short term profit, so watching the chart is very important in other not to miss good opportunities, and when the price is going down, it can cause panic, fear, anxiety and disappointments.

2. Placing a risky bet can be very fearful as well, it takes balls, and after placing the bet, it can also be very stress watching and waiting for the outcome..

But in conclusion, I would say that watching a bitcoin chart is less stressful because there one have options, like being patient or selling to cut your loss..
Placing a risky bet is more stressful because one's placed, you can't cancel, you either will win and get profit, or loss and go home with nothing.
