Why would UFC took him because of his look? No offense to this guy but UFC wouldn't take him for his appearance, the took him for his talent and they also hope that the hype will continue. Raúl Rosas has a huge family to support, his is Mexican and in Mexico, family structure is different from the rest of the western families. In Mexican families, generations live in the same house while in western families, kids try to move once they become 18.
By the way, this guy isn't very smart. He said that he wants to become the youngest UFC champion and then retire at the age of 25. That's a very bad move. First of all, you are 19 and your mentality changes every year as you grow up further. Secondly, this statement basically means that hey UFC, I'm gonna retire soon, so don't put all the money and effort in promoting me. This is dumb, isn't it? If he wants money and retirement, he should act like he is here till his 40s.
Was not trying to offend anyone, but why exactly UFC took Raul Rosas Jr. ? Talented ? Yes. Btw he has got two brothers who are MMA fighters also and had perfect record (Raul before signing to UFC had 5-0 in amateur MMA). I am 1000% sure there are talented guys with 5-0 in the world despite Raul. Probably scouts noticed him for his charisma. Anyway, let wish this guy luck and to get to his dream without injuries.
Now about his wish to become champ and retire at 25. I really dont know how he is going to do that. Wikipedia say that youngest bantamweight champ was 25yo - Garbrandt. Bones became champion when he was 23. Rosas is 20 already. King of bantamweight right now is Merab who has no plans to retire. Raul has 3 years left and he is not even in top15. Not going to make it
