Yes, that's pretty much spot on.

A gambler will need to accept losing money, because that is simply the most probable outcome of gambling.

It is just a fantasy the idea that they will go to a casino, gamble a bit and then get a lot of money out.

That's actually what the casinos want you to believe.

Similar to alcohol, they sell you in the ads the idea of had ng fun with friends, not the alcohol itself.
