watching Bitcoin charts all day or placing a risky bet?
I don't think anything can really compare to the stress that monitoring the charts can bring. Individuals who are obsessed with it will monitor the charts on their computers and then, on their way out, will switch to monitoring the charts on their mobile phones, making them totally disconnected from any activity that they are in outside that they should be focused on.
Risky bets will have you checking back often, but not as often as monitoring the charts.
I think the same. In a risky bet you bet and, if it's a casino bet, like a number at roulette, you know the result at the time. What can cause you more stress is betting today on a weekend game and also an amount that you shouldn't be betting, so it can be stressful. But in general it is more stressful to follow the price of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies all day long.
