A mediocre team under great pressure can sometimes perform beyond expectations. Bochum is an easy opponent for Leverkusen in theory, people can easily predict the match result. Xabi Alonso chances of leading his team to secure full points are clearly higher, especially since the match will take place at BayArena. I don't think Bochum luck will repeat, unless Leverkusen plays very poorly throughout the match.

Anything can happen in the remaining 8 matches of this season, the situation can change quickly. Leverkusen only needs to focus on maintaining consistent performance. Leverkusen chances of retaining the trophy are indeed low, especially if Bayern Munich can also maintain the point difference between them. However, Leverkusen must remain optimistic until Bayern Munich has truly lock the trophy.
Bayer can now focus entirely on the Bundesliga, they don't have any prerequisites yet to hope that they can defend their champions title, but they have to try to do it, and for that they need to win all the matches, they can't lose points, so even though Bochum is not the easiest team, I expect Bayer to beat such an opponent. On the other hand, I doubt that Bayern will lose the difference that they were able to make.
Bayer Leverkusen is the team that will definitely win the match against Bochum. We all know the difficult conditions of the Bundesliga. Xabi Alonso in Leverkusen wanted to repeat last year's success but they are not in a similar ranking this year. Still, they continue to chase Bayern Munich for the championship. They will need to win this match to continue this until the end of the year. I see Leverkusen as the favorite in this match because they will be playing on their home field.
It is very unlikely that Leverkusen will lose points when facing Bochum, especially since the opponent they are facing is a team that is at the bottom of the table and this match is played at home as you said. In addition, Leverkusen has not given up on continuing to defend the Bundesliga title even though it is difficult, but Xabi Alonso is not the type to give up easily before the season ends.

Because even though they are currently 6 points behind Bayern Munich but with 8 matches left anything can happen, in football there are always unexpected surprises. Moreover, Bayern Munich has a concentration on the UCL league while Leverkusen does not. Of course this indirectly has a big impact on the Munich squad, especially if Kompany does not maintain the fitness of the players by rotating the players, the potential for losing points is very large.
