Barcelona are in great shape at the moment: Flick has done a really good job.
Their overall game is even better than Real Madrid who, we remember, struggled in the Champions League with Atletico Madrid and won on penalties.
i am also looking forward to the next El Clasico. If Barcelona can beat Real Madrid at home, they will have the best chance of becoming champions of La Liga this season.
In fact i give a positive outlook to Barcelona
They really are, but I always hate it when people put all the success on Flick, when they had Xavi, they managed to win the league title on his first full season, which shows that Barcelona is already a great team. Plus, Flick is using plenty of young players that Xavi unearthed by making them play and promoting them from La Masia, so he did had a big hand in this being a big deal.
Doesn't mean Flick didn't do anything, of course he was a big part of the reason why they got better, but Xavi had a big part in it too, it was a combined effort if you asked me. Also the players Barcelona have are usually great, if only they didn't spend 100+ million on a few players back in the day, and just promoted players from young team.
Barcelona's academy, La Masia, is in my opinion the best football academy in the world. Because the players they produce directly start competing for Barcelona's A team. The other players in the academy are at a level that they can easily play for any team in Europe. However, Barcelona is looking for players among these players that they can add to their own team. We have already seen examples of this in recent years and I think Xavi, who gives opportunities to young people, is one of the architects of this. Of course, Hansi Flick is a very successful coach, but in my opinion, Xavi is the one who brought Barcelona's skeleton squad and young people to where they are today.
