Anyone here can relate to betting before the game starts and have worries about some questionable players to play?
The best example is for tomorrow's match, like Boston vs Phoenix, where J. Tatum is questionable to play. And Nuggets vs Bucks, like a Giannis and Jokić, are also questionable. Any advice?

When important people are questionable to suit up I never place a bet on the team. I mean you can just wait until some minutes before the game when the final roster available gets published, there are many fantasy sports sites that bring updates super quick actually. Also on Twitter teams often make a post about the starting 5 minutes before the game starts. That's the safest route. I had my fair share of bad surprises when suddenly some main guy didn't suit up and my bet was doomed before the game even started.  Cry

True, hard lessons for me in the past as well, I already put a bet and on the last minute, player A didn't suit up so obviously, my bet lost. So I just wait for the last minute to put my bet or even do some live betting as well so see how the game is.

Twitter is also one social media that everyone update in the last minute, not the player but the team itself. So could be someone that has inside information on which player are going to play and which one is going to sit. And personally, I do not think that Jayson Tatum is going to play against Phoenix.

Yeah its tough.  Usually i wait until right before the game to drop the bet so i know who is playing and who isnt.  The odds usually shift but id rather know than not.  If a team is on a second game of a back to back you can expect if those players do play they will play significantly lower than normal.  So possibly even worse   it is difficult when lining up ypur bets early.

Usually though, the shift might not be as big. Just like what has been mentioned, Boston vs Suns, even though that Tatum is questionable and most likely not to play, they are still a huge favorite in this game. So this could be a trap as the game is going to be at Suns homecourt and then without Tatum, they have a good chance to win with Durant and Booker leading them.

Tatum is averaging like 27 ppg, so that is a huge lost already for the Celtics unless someone can cover that offense for them. But let's see at the last minute, Celtics doesn't need to force Tatum to play as they are already sealed for that second spot in the East.

If tatum doesnt play its not like the celtics lose 27 points.  Obviously brown, kristaps, white etc will all get more touches.  They have enough firepower to cover down on losing tatum.  Celtics are the team to beat in the league i dont care of the records.  They are deep and playoffs is an entirely different animal than regular season.  I think this is the ramp up to playoffs right now.  Not sure which way this goes but with pr without tatum celts are fine
