I will not see this as totally unexpected because there are many of us who always know that Nigeria can disappoint at the moment when you expect them to perform, this is why we did not expect much from the game and we do not feel hurt about the results. There is a chance for the team still, but no big expectations. What I expected from the Super Eagles immediately after they got the victory and had few minutes left to the end of the game for them to control the game and made sure to defend the one goal that they had. They kept on playing like they wanted to score another goal which was something not really necessary because a one goal lead would have been enough and would have been as celebrated as a two goal lead.
