I will share my own experience. Binance freezes my funds when I receive funds from my clients. Because one of my clients sent BNB from a mixer.  However, eventually Binance returned my funds but restricted my account, so I can't use Binance anymore.

This part is not clear to me, because as far as I know there are no mixers for that token - so how is it possible for CEX to claim that their token came from a mixer? The only thing that makes sense is that your client bought that token with BTC that they (CEX) claim is from the mixer.

Anyway, if BTC originates from a mixer, it is definitely not recommended to send it to CEX directly, but it is recommended to make several transactions through your non-custodial wallets - in that case, the only question is how deeply CEX analyzes the transactions.

I was also going to ask how BNB was sent from a mixer. But what you explained is likely what happened. I also believe that mixers and authorities are more strick in some countries than others. In my country, there's no such strictness. I had in time past when I was new, mixed coin directly to binance and nothing really happened. But there was one sinbad money that led to the temporary freezing of the exchange accounts.
