Yeah, well, we kinda know. If you check out the odds, you will see that basically they are against the gambler, that is, the probability of winning more money than what you put into the casino is very small, yet not zero.
Our brains are not that great to intuitively get to a conclusion using probabilities, we are much better at Newtonian physics, that is, throwing rocks and stuff like that...
So, the math tells us that only a very small amount of people will have won more than the casino. This actually happens, you just don't know who will be the lucky ones.
the thing is that we should remember that everyday something with really low odds happens
but this brings some sad outcomes to society too like having lots of addicted people
