Manchester City are in a weakest mode since 2017 - 2018 season but they still have enough star players and experience to finish this season in top four. Fortunately for them that Premier League with good performances of representatives from Champions League, Europa League to Conference League, will very likely be given five slots for next season in Champions League.
This means, the target of Manchester City can be top four or a fourth position but it can be a little bit easier with a fifth position. If it is a fifth position, I think they are very likely able to get it but to be safely they will aim at a fourth position. Brighton is making surprise but let's say they won't be able to represent Premier League well in Champions League.
Manchester City’s season can go from worse to better if they finally finish in top four position at the end of the season because the season has been really bad and a tough one for them. At some point they even dropped down to eighth position which has never been seen in a very long time, it shows how bad they fell this season. I hope they make top four at the end of the season.
I think they have to work hard, which they are not doing, which is why they have to win so many matches by the end of the season. If they played well, they would not have needed to win so many matches. Manchester City's performance used to be quite good, but they could not succeed in any way and kept losing matches and spoiled their record so much that they need a lot of hard work to improve it. They have made this season difficult for themselves because their players did not score many goals and did not win matches, due to which they will not be successful this season. Even if they win a few matches, they will not be able to achieve this victory. Only if they work hard, we can have hope from them.
