I believe everyone has a way to place their bets and the strategy they follow personally; for me, I only bet on football games that I have an idea about the two teams that is, on leagues that I usually follow and watch. I rarely follow the lower leagues, so I avoid them completely because I have little knowledge of them and the performance of the teams. Match fixing is also relatively very possible there.

Just a speculative reasoning, but I think that people who bet on football teams that they have no idea about their performance or bet in lower leagues that they do not follow are people who take games and predictions from tipsters, not actually doing their own analysis themselves.
