Xabi Alonso should simply seek for new managerial position because his team flops in big games and in tougher positions this season. You do think he's happy with the club's stats? Absolutely not because they've been knocked out of the main leagues and unable to reach out for a trophy. Leverkusen are not in prime form this season. It'd shown how they're unable to match the energic strength with Bayern Munich this season. Alot have happen and we've watch the epic performance of these teams, their incapacity to reach maximum level and definitely not exploring in all phases is simply not understandable.
I don't think he is unhappy with Leverkusen's current state. What will he expect? To have another dream season two times in a row? Even Bayern Munich couldn't do so in years.
The board must be really happy with the place they see the team in the Bundesliga now. They are still a title contender thanks to Xabi Alonso. Before him they were just desperate. And he must also be enjoying his time. However... On the other hand, I think he will use Leverkusen as a stepping stone to sign for a bigger team one day. Maybe next season or a season after that. But I believe that will happen. He is one of the rare managers starting his career in such an incredible way. He would surely be a target by such teams looking for a new manager.
