Bitcoin remains hard to use, mining continues to be environmentally damaging to a very large extent while it also becomes more centralized and scalability remains an issue. This price boom changes nothing in terms of fundamentals. Bitcoin's price went up mostly due to external factors but that doesn't solve the issues related to adoption.

Maybe though in the end, adoption doesn't matter? What are your thoughts?
There are hundreds of activities that can damage the environment much worse than the way miners do but the news is not so massively conveyed. As far as we know at this time and mining activities are always associated with environmental destruction patterns that are sometimes not so relevant because they are exaggerated. In fact, when talking about fundamentals that make prices increase because people see bitcoin's development much better compared to others even though other external factors also play a role.

Adoption is quite important because with greater interest it can create massive movements in the market. If adoption had not increased, maybe now bitcoin would never have reached the price it is now. Although there are other scales that can affect price increases in the process of market travel.
