yes let's just watch what Nottingham forest does with its players whether they will be sold or not but yes it is true if for example the players are sold like their mainstay players then certainly Nottingham forest will have the potential to suffer the same fate as Girona where their performance has indeed decreased after the departure of their mainstay players. but honestly I'm curious about Nottingham's game if for example they qualify for the UCL whether they will be able to fight the selected teams in the UCL or not.
Hopefully Nottingham doesn't do that. Because it's always quite annoying when I see a club improving rapidly in one season but then at the end of the season they let go of some of their mainstay players. And then in the following season the team's performance deteriorated again as if returning to the performance before they had improved. And that's always quite annoying in my opinion. But yeah, I also understand that the goal is money and business. But if the club thinks long term then continuing to maintain the quality of the team is the best. And then sponsors from various companies will come and make the club benefit more. Unless the offer is high enough and can enable the club to be able to buy even better players. But it is also a risky move even though it is profitable in the short term.
