I think he will just get a try for Japan as it is his home circuit, no matter how bad Lawson is you don't fire a guy after two races, it would simply be stupid from every single aspect you get.

- the car is actually good but it takes a special kind of driver to deal with it and newbies are better with slower ones
- the car is mediocre at best but Lawson is worse than mediocre

Lot of opinions indeed even my kid has them but you generally form them pre-season and in testing no? How two races form any kind of sampling doesn't make sense unless it is more of a driver-team-instruction-postbrief assessment.
