I just want to gauge everyone's knowledge here (please don’t do too much research).
I would like to hear your thoughts based on your existing knowledge and intuition.
How do you think Bitcoin can help countries experiencing hyperinflation such as Venezuela, Zimbabwe, and more recently, Sudan and Lebanon?
We (bitcoin enthusiast) often preach that investing in Bitcoin is a hedge against inflation.
If inflation is the main problem in these countries, how do you think Bitcoin could help solve their economic crisis?
There is no way that Bitcoin can help any country to beat inflation, that's simply impossible. These countries have a population of 28 million, 16 million and 5 million people and inflation rate there is extremely high. Do you think that by simply investing in Bitcoin and waiting for its price to reach a million dollar, these countries will beat inflation? In order for that strategy to work, other countries have to heavily invest in Bitcoin and make it reach 1 million dollar per coin and then willingly pay those countries that much dollar per coin to let them beat inflation. No country is stupid enough to freely give you billions of dollars without nothing in return.
Bitcoin is not a magic stick, it can't help with inflation. The max that it can do is to create a new business and job opportunities, that's all it can do.
