I'm with you 100% on this, as they say; "Charity begins at home," and a short as the phrase is, it's holds enough meaning to appriase or neglect parents/guardians for the upbringing of their children/wards. This must be the basis in all climes because no matter what the children discover and wanted to do later in the future, the basis, which is the foundational knowledge is keya nd will always be a huge factor to make them decide on good or bad and this is also contributory to how they work with their conscience.

Education is important, it will show how parents managed to instill responsibility in their children, this is not an easy job, children need to repeat the same thing hundreds of times so that they remember it and understand. If a student knows that first of all, studying is important to him and everything else is secondary, then he will be able to prioritize even if he wants to gamble, it will not bother him, on the other hand, gambling is not the only thing that can distract a student from studying, so everything ultimately depends on responsibility.

I always hammer this into my kids. I have nothing to give them (money, land, riches) but only education, and I can guide them until my last breath just so they will have a better future. This is why I also try to be a strict Dad when it comes to what they do on their smartphones. I sneak at night, checking their browsing history, their games, their social media applications, and anything so that I will know what they are up to. I know it's not a cool thing to do, but I don't want them going down the wrong path just because I missed checking something on their phones. One mistake could ruin their life, be it gambling or other addictive things, and I don't want them to end up as someone bad and then be blamed in the end.
