Gujarat Titans are not a very promising team but they have secured their victory in the end. But Mumbai Indians, despite having skilled players in the team, failed to bat accordingly. Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bowl today. Maybe it was a wrong decision for them. But if the players have the skill and strength, then it doesn't matter before or after. Gujarat Titans' team batted aggressively from the beginning due to which they were able to achieve a good score. The first 3 batsmen scored well due to which they were able to give a big target to the opposing Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians did well from the beginning but their wickets fell towards the end which led to the loss of the match.
Even though Gujarat Titans were not expected to win they played well and got victory. On the other hand Mumbai Indians have many talented players but they did not do well with batting. When Mumbai Indians won toss they decided to bowl first but that might not have been best decision. In the end Gujarat Titans strategy of batting aggressively worked out well for them. Their top three batsmen played really well which helped their team set high target for Mumbai Indians to try and reach. Mumbai Indians started off well but they could not keep up momentum and lost wickets towards the end which is why they lost match.
I think Mumbai Indians' decision to win the toss and field was not the best, although they planned to put Gujarat Titans under pressure and play according to the target. Although I think Gujarat Titans batted relatively well, despite Mumbai Indians having good top order batsmen, they could not do well. Mumbai Indians lost wickets early on due to which they were under pressure and no player could play for a long time. Only Suryakumar Yadav batted a little well, besides all the other batsmen could not do well, as a result they had to lose the match. If Mumbai Indians had had a good batting line up at the beginning, Gujarat Titans could have lost but they could not bat according to their plan.
