I honestly thought Real Madrid was about to lose. When the game became 1-2 that was the moment I thought it would either end with a Real Madrid loss, or it would end with a tie at the very best case for Real Madrid. I did not believe that we would see a comeback but Real Madrid managed to make it happen.
With the way things are going for them and how many games they are playing and how many players were on national team, it was estimated that Real Madrid would have been very very tired, which wasn't wrong and proven by the fact that they barely got the win here. If they keep this form going then they have a chance to win the league, but at the same time they need to figure out a way to rest some of their players too.
Leganés is a team in the relegation that always creates the best strategy when it comes to playing against the top teams in the league. We all saw how they played against Barcelona, and that was the same strategy that they played in the game with Real Madrid. But I was not having many doubts about Real Madrid, as I had the feeling that they would come back, and that was what happened. I know that Real Madrid will not like to take a defeat in a home game, and also they don’t want to lose their consistency in the season, although this is the second game that Real Madrid played against Leganes, which even the first game that was a home game for Leganes, Real Madrid won the game with a clean sheet of 0-3.
So I will be waiting to see how the game of Leganés will be against Barcelona on 12/04/2025, which I think if Barcelona should lose again, then they will still be in a point bracket with Real Madrid because in all the next games that Real Madrid has, there is a possibility of them winning.
