Wow. Osimhen is playing his own game. First when he caught the eye at Napoli he didn't want to leave too soon, then he didn't want to stay, then he went on loan and now he wants to go to United whose only chance of getting into the Champions League is to win the Europa League. He would be a major boost for the club and as a United fan I welcome it but I can't see why he would take such a risk personally.
I don't see any chance of Manchester United finishing in the top 6 of the Premier League and their chance of winning the EL is also very slim, because ManU simply play very bad football and there are still teams like Bilbao, Tottenham and Frankfurt in the tournament. Whereby Tottenham is playing just as badly as ManU this season but I still see little chance of them getting into european competitions next year and then Osimhen can only play in the PL and the FA Cup, does he really want that?
To be honest, playing for a big team like Manchester United is a special experience, so I think Osimhen would still be interested in moving to Old Trafford. Especially if Manchester United makes Osimhen the highest paid player at the club, that would be hard to refuse. Rather than staying at Galatasaray or returning to his parent club Napoli, it would be better to move to Manchester United. If Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, or PSG join the competition to get Osimhen, Manchester United will likely fail to secure him because those clubs can offer Osimhen to play in the Champions League next season. Let's see first if Manchester United can win the Europa League trophy, which might make Osimhen interested in joining Ruben Amorim squad.
