maybe he made a mistake like that, but i would imagine they use other info to link multi accounts. i mean, if they only use IP address as proof, accusing a player of having multi accounts based on that only is pretty weak imo.
They flagged your account for multiple accounts, but confiscating the funds you deposited is a bit much. As far as I know, confiscate winnings/deposits in scenarios where the gambler has broken the rule multiple times and their previous account has been banned, the gambler has won more than their deposit or something similar to those.

IP, device, financial transactions and betting patterns is what they use. Many times, especially with betting pattern, they are guessing. Many still confiscate money. There really isn't a reason for a sports player to multi-account as Sportsbet since their odds are bad.
