FUN token has indeed become a convenient coin to pump. May be this was just someone trying to PUMP FUN.
FUN token price is still increasing, which is quite mysterious. I can't find any valid reason for the surge of FUN tokens price now. Maybe Freebitco team doing it intentionally to encourage the users to not sell and withdraw their FUN tokens from Freebitco. Currently, the circulating supply of FUN token is around 10.6 billion. The total locked FUN tokens are almost 7 billion at Freebitco. So, a real investor won't make a big investment on this type of token which doesn't have big potential in the future. With that amount of tokens locked up it will become even more easier to pump FUN token.
Even if we assume freebitco.in is manipulating FUN token price do you really think it will be motivate anyone to invest in FUN token.
Personally, I don't think so. Only someone who doesn't know about it's history will think about investing in it.
