I only trust one person in this world. I will always be wary of the rest of the people I know, and sometimes even both. I don't like to say how much I have, especially sharing something so valuable, let's put it that way. I like secrets, especially when it's something so important to me.
The only person you should trust in this world should be yourself, and it will be hard for you to expose your secret to family members because you know the danger involve when family members discovered your seeds phrase. if it come to seeds phrase secret, make sure you write them down before keeping them away from your husband or children, because there will be emergency of accident or death that will make your children or husband to locate those seeds phrase in your house to have access to your coins to pay for your hospital bill.
Not only you that like secret, as long you are a Bitcoiners, you need to keep secret to yourself to stay long in BTC investment, and there are some people you will discuss your secret with, they will take advantage of the secret to scam you.
Keeping your bitcoin seed phrase safe is a big deal for sure. But if you hide it too well and something happens to you, your family might be out of luck. I'm not saying tell everyone, just don't de dumb about it, but maybe put it in a safe spot like a bank box, add it to your will, or give it to someone you trust with a simple "here's the plan". If things go wrong, you'd want your loved ones to get that cash for important stuff right? it's about keeping it secret but not so secret they can't find it if you're gone.
