I look at bitcoin as my early retirement fund. Obviously, none of us want nor expect a significant crash and loss of value from which Bitcoin will never recover.
I am sure that quite a lot of bitcoiners who have been in the network for a lot of time also look at bitcoin in the very same way. Bitcoin is volatile, but since it is a retirement fund, it is a very long term investment depending on the age of the individual, and bitcoin does so well in the long run, neither is it going to go to zero.
No matter how much BTC crash, it will always recover, just that that fear will always be there whenever bitcoin starts to crash. We all know this fact, but adapting to it is a problem.
@Pmalek, I love your view of bitcoin. If everyone starts to view bitcoin in such a manner, we will not experience these much noise at every correction.

We could actually speak of the fear of loosing out; not having to invest or take profit when you ought to have and
The fear that Bitcoin might drop to zero which is almost none existent given thriving circumstances of government stands on Bitcoin in recent time.
However, Bitcoin revolves in a circle and as such, why would we entertain the fact that, it could dump and never rise without having to entertain the thought that, it could rise and never dump!
The circles shouldn’t cause fear rather, it should be something we could relate and utilize for our own benefits.
