I have no idea how anyone thought Trump endorsing BTC a good idea, coming from him, like seriously people, this is the worst thing ever!!! brings a bad name and reputation to all of crypto for any part of crypto that was good crypto vs all the scams out there. These extreme radical right wing people only want wealth for themselves and nothing for the people. wake up everyone !
I believe the promises about Bitcoin reserve Trump made before he was elected was what sparked a huge controversy about Bitcoin and Trump. I also was against Trump's opposition on Bitcoin, he was against it a few years ago but before his elections, he had a change of heart, which I didn't believe was true. Was it an attempt to gain more votes? Possibly, but on the other hand, I doubt it, the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin community aren't that huge to make a significant impact on the elections.
Trump's moves do not make sense, impossing taxes on everything imported is going to backfire, while we're also seeing a relatively major drop in the market which is possibly associated. "Relying" on him for Bitcoin's development was wrong in the first place.
