Arsenal is a team I don’t trust because they’ve not been consistent in recent games. They have quite fallen short of attackers and Saka coming back from injuries still doesn’t give them an upper hand in this game, you never know what to expect from Arsenal. This should’ve been Arsenals tittle but in recent years they’ve been the closest to Manchester City, But Right now Liverpool is in a different league of their own. It’s no longer a tittle chase or fight anymore. It’s Liverpools league to Loose. And if Liverpool drops point, I still don’t see Arsenal not dropping points as well. I don’t see Arsenal beating Fulham today. It’s going to end in stalemate.
Arsenal dropped its chance to win the league since the first half of the season. They all let Liverpool run away and increase hugely the gap while they was watching, whether it is Arsenal, Manchester City or Chelsea. Every single team of them was dropping points freely and they should blame themselves for losing easy points against weaker teams.
Arsenal - Fulham results won't change a lot the race for the first place but it has an effect on gunners chances to pick a place for UEFA Champions League.
There is 27 points left to collect and Liverpool needs at least 15 points to bring the title home regardless of the results of Arsenal and the other teams. We all know that it is hard to see gunners winning all these points.
You're right, if you check in the previous matches of these teams Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City you'd noticed that they find it hard to win the easy games against the smaller teams especially the Gunners who are good at playing like amateur and teams like Bournemouth are even better than the Gunners or should mention Nottingham Forest? Bournemouth and Nottingham don't take chances and these two teams have the momentum to beat those teams Arsenal struggle against and the Gunners know that is one of the reasons why they couldn't reduce the point gap against Liverpool, is so sad.
The only effect I know the Gunners have in winning this game against Fulham and other games ahead is reducing the point till Liverpool win their game and if is qualifying for the champions league next season like you said I believe Arsenal will qualify no matter their poor performance. I still believe Liverpool are playing under pressure more than Arteta's men and the only way they can eliminate that pressure is by scoring first and getting the whole 3pt in any game they play because Arsenal get that required 3pt it gives Liverpool a scare of doing better in their game so for now, since Arsenal have their big man Saka back to the squad, the remaining games won't be as difficult as the previous ones but should in case they loss this game tonight then it doesn't matter if they have Saka or not they are terrible since that has been their excuse of not doing well since getting a striker is a taboo to them.
