Sometimes the problem with investors not investing in bitcoin because they missed out the previous years when bitcoin was a lot cheaper is actually the the absolute reason why most people don't go into the market. I spoke to a trader who happens to be a friend and after our long discussion he talked about forex and later switched to crypto trading, at the end he asked me what crypto I'm I Interested in for the next alt season, and I said non because I'll be focused on bitcoin only and criticized bitcoin of not going to be profitable anymore nor will I get to see any 2x in the coming bullish season, then I told him I wasn't interested in short term market trade but would hold for probably  a decade. So from our discussion I got to find out that most person are avoiding bitcoin because it is not as volatile as shitcoins within a small duration of time. Well that's correct amd but not logically sound because they are comparing a long term project to a short term rug project which have lead several persons to an addictive state of chasing losses after being rugged.
You are right in pointing out the difference  between long term investments like Bitcoin and the allure of short term, high risk trades in shitcoins  many , new traders, get drawn to the volatility of altcoins because they can see the potential for quick profits, even if that also comes with a high level of risk but Bitcoin, on the other hand, tends to be viewed as more stable, but it's also seen by some as less exciting in the short term because it doesn't have the same explosive price swings as some of the altcoins.

When you compare Bitcoin's potential to the fleeting, often unsustainable hype around altcoins, it's clear that Bitcoin is designed to be a long term store of value and a hedge against inflation and we have by experience The volatility in altcoins can indeed be addictive

It’s enough to just look at the history of Bitcoin to see its evolution and how it has  already proven itself as a long term investment,I can't say how long it will take for Bitcoin to continue its course of evolution and surpass the 107k mark again, but what is certain its growth in the next decade could be more gradual but far more secure for those with a patient mindset. It’s interesting how many people don’t see that
