Many, especially newbies, think alts are faster profit without much risk.

Whereas in reality, it's totally not true.

Only BTC has that much stability to go forward for many years to come without a nerve.
And those who always think that end up on the wrong path; some of them end up lucky, making large profits from altcoins. Why do most of them always end up losing the little they have invested? Altcoins are for short-term investments and are not to be held for the long term. Even for the short time, it's too risky for you to invest in them without keeping a close look. Bitcoin is not risk-free, but we can hold and sleep with our two eyes closed, knowing fully well that it won't collapse.

High risk=High reward, but this philosophy might not be for all of us. Because there could be conservative investors who have a different mindset, steady wins the game. And with that, most of us here would go after Bitcoin as the risk is not as big when you invest on altcoins.

And that you can sleep well at night knowing that your investment are safe, at least if won't go down that high as compare to altcoins that will have a downward spiral and when you wake up, your investments are wipe out in an instant.
