Nottingham Forest is living a true dream, normally they would be doing the math to avoid relegation, but it is unbelievable that they are doing the math to go to the European Champions League, we are not talking about the Europa League, but the European Champions League, there are only 4 places and they are occupying one of those 4 places.
https://www.premierleague.com/tablesThey have overcome great teams like Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle and are in third place, there are only a few games left for the Premier League to end and they can achieve something big, which would be going to the European Champions League, I doubt very much that this was in the club's management's plans before this season started.
Once again, Elanga saved Nottingham Forest, that early counter attacking goal really helped Nottingham cause if you take a look at the stats, you'll be wondering why Manchester United didn't win, they created more chances, had more shots and defended properly after conceding to Nottingham Forest, but couldn't score. It may seem as though Nottingham Forest forfeited possession fpr Manchester United to get lucky with a counter attack and score then defend properly, cause that's how it played out, luckily for them the goal came too early. Manchester United needs to work on their final third, they're beginning to play well, and dominate games but scoring is the issue cause their present attackers are not good with decision making, that's one area Amorim should focus more on during the summer transfer, if he wants to succeed with Manchester United next season.
Scoring has always been their problem if not they wouldn't have lost that match. United is doing pretty good on every other aspect but the attackers are nothing to write home about. Only Fernandez is the most reliable player that you can expect a goal from if he has the chance to make it happen. Amorim needs to get good strikers after the end of this season. Forest was lucky.
