With the way Nottingham forest are currently playing, then they should be able to maintain top 4 position till ending of the season. Nottingham forest performance has been so good since the beginning of the season, and I guess they will be maintaining that till ending of the season, Nottingham forest main goal this season is to qualify for the champions league next season, which I think they should be able to achieve that.
I wasn’t really satisfied with the way Nottingham forest played yesterday against Manchester United, they played below my expectation, but am sure they will work on their performance in coming matches, Nottingham forest has really tried, it’s really going to be painful if they don’t get the champions league ticket.
To be sincere I know a lot of people didn't believe Nottingham Forest will maintain this performance for long and I am also one of those people, I thought they were going to lose form somewhere near the end of the season but with the way they are playing now they even look more stronger and top 4 position is almost certain for them. They are definitely securing the 3rd place and the battle for 4th place is between Chelsea and Manchester City who are both struggling to have a stable performance. Nothing is certain yet but Nottingham Forest performance is more convincing than others challenging for top 4.
Yesterday they played without some few important players like Hudson Odoi and Chris Wood and also Ola Aina got injured in the game so it affected their game and so they were forced to be more defensive after scoring the goal. It was a good strategy when your team is not complete and what really matters is the 3 points and they were able to get it.
Manchester City would have a better chance of qualifying for that champions league spot than Chelsea would do, because now they're more focused on the Premier league after they crashed out of the champions league competition, whereas Chelsea form isn't convincing this season and there's no sign that they want to improve either anytime soon, they win today and tomorrow they lose, but I can bet for Manchester City if they decide to occupy they 4 position.
