Indeed. I think there's a big difference between beliefs (faith) and religion.
I don't need some revenue-based Sunday morning club to act as a middleman between me and my creator. I'll talk directly, thank you.
Or even If there is a creator and what that creator is and what that creator wants me to do and act.
THAT is the epitome of Hubris.
Literally anyone that says they know if a creator exists is either delusional or has personally been contacted by that entity and would have to provide proof for me to believe them.
And that is why I am a Confirmed Agnostic.
By the way I am a good person out of choice not because I fear I will be punished if I am not.

I am Agnostic but not confirmed as God would be able to convince me he or she is real if he wants to.
There is no he/she, there is only it.
God is a hebrew tanslation error.
For Agnistics/Atheists the quantum space might be a good guideline of what it (God) is.
For us poor humans, its most recognizable form is our feelings.
But if you want control over people, you have to invent a human-like entity they can fear.
