You understand gamble mate, no matter the outcome never react excessively because its wont  be nice you lose money and health. Gambling is dangerous if you play with emotions, always play with you spare cash so when u lose you won't feel bad about it. And never borrow to gamble to avoid unnecessary tension and regret at the end. Betting responsibly does not stop emotions, you have to be strong minded and stake what you can afford to lose.
Basic rules in gambling is not to take loans to play and not to play more than 10% of your bankroll. But most people dont understand the gravity behind making these statements rather take it as some elder giving rebukes.

When we gamble we take a risk on ourselves with our money in trying to increase it. That same money would probably be used to fund something fruitful for a family. The gambler needs to take this on their head if they lose their money and work to compensate that before they are given the freedom to gamble again. With that strict mindset only one can control their gambling habits.

Being disappointed is normal but it will not help.
