Leverkusen have already been eliminated from the Champions League this season after being defeated by their closest rivals Bayern Munich, so anyone who still has such hopes should write them off for this season because Leverkusen are not capable of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season. And in the DFB Pokal Leverkusen are also eliminated so the only hope that can still be bet on is in the Bundesliga although I personally am not sure that Leverkusen will be able to surpass Bayern Munich's points for this season in the Bundesliga.

Normally, many did not expect too much from Bayer Leverkusen in the champions league competition, because they are not good in champions league. I expected them to be eliminated, so I wasn’t surprised when it happened, However, in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich already ahead of them with a big margin in point. Bayer Leverkusen are big in their best form that we will say they can easily surpass them in points and climb the top spot, with the look of things that will be impossible for Leverkusen this season.

There is no sign for that, while Bayern Munich have not show any sign of weakness in the Bundesliga competition.
This season Leverkusen has not was not fortunate because from the beginning of the season it has not been good with them because they they have been struggling with form and injuries to some of their key players like boniface and the rest plus most of their players are out of form so Leverkusen season has been charactarized by struggling I even had to commend Alonso for the way tha he has been able to still maintain this team to this level of the season but for now it's over for them this season they have to come back next season and try and strengthen their squad
This season has not been the best season for Alonso and his team because they have not find things easy like they had last season where they were on top of their game,  they had few injury issues but their biggest problem this season was form most of their players are not in good form like they were last season which made them win the league. I don't want to praise Alonso this season because I was expecting him to have defended his league title but seeing how the team has struggled this season getting the opportunity to be in the champions League competition next season is also an achievement for the Levekusen team. Bayern Munich is the best team in the league this season and they are going to win the league I think Leverkusen should prepare for next season if they want to stop Bayern Munich from winning the league again.
