Kolkata Knight Riders won match by 80 runs which was very exciting outcome. They set very high target of 200 runs and team showed great skill and worked well together. Many players played very well. Venkatesh Iyer did great job scoring 60 runs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi also played very important role scoring 50 runs and playing aggressively throughout his innings. At first it did not seem possible for team to set such high target especially after Quinton de Kock got out early for just one run. But his getting out did not worry team and other players did great job playing well and winning match easily.
Vaibhav Arora, Varun Chakravarthy and Venkatesh Iyer handed Sunrisers Hyderabad their third consecutive defeat. After their initial win against Rajasthan Royals, SRH has now lost three matches (against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals and now against Kolkata Knight Riders). If you look at the player lineup, it will be impossible to believe that this team can be defeated. And yet, they are at the bottom of the points table right now. For sure, the franchise owners are not going to be too happy about it.
