Yeah, as the answer is too obvious. Definitely it affects it. Mobile mining apps are not different from the other apps that we use daily. They eat RAM, phone storage, battery, etc.... Depending on our phone and how the app is built, our phone might get slow or not totally struggle. Mobile mining is like a gimmick only because they are not built for them. What happen is that we are only being shown a mining animation and then we are only being given by a crypto directly.

Even though we say they are not too heavy, they can still be a waste of time and some might be risky as they have a malware which can can steal our data's. So it is not worth it to have them.
also just to add, most mobile phone doesn't have active cooling, even opening the "fake"mining app continuously despite not solving any math problem or something like that, might wear out the phone's life time.
so it's really not recommended to do this, mobile phone aren't built for this kind of thing and anyone better off doing the real mining through desktop or even build their own servers.

most of these mobile mining app are scam anyway.
