Truth be told, Manchester United are just getting away in the Europa League against teams that do not match their confidence. If Manchester United were what we thought as much, no doubt in mind that we won't see them in the final. Lyon is not much contender, they can easily beat Lyon and move into the semi finals which will determine, next on still isn't a competitive club, (Athletic club or Rangers), maybe we just skip our interest on the remaining matches and hope for the final where they face Premier League rivals Tottenham.
Maybe it's true that if Manchester United can play with extreme confidence, so we can say that the quarter-final stage will not create any adverse conditions for them. But when they reach the semi-finals beyond the quarter-finals, they will have to face a much stronger team. The Ligue 1 club Lyons are not a strong enough team, they have been playing inconsistently, so opportunities may automatically arise for Manchester United against this team. The Lyon Football Club may look a little stronger on their familiar ground but perhaps Manchester United Football Club will be able to overcome that properly.

Right now we can not actually tell for sure what will happen because sometimes form doesn't really matter, just imagine a club like Real Madrid whether they are inform or not and they manage to find themselves in the semifinals or finals, they will always do wonder and I don't know how they use to do it but it has become part of them. Manchester united and Lyon are not consistent but I think Manchester united have more experience than Lyon and Maybe the experience might help them qualify if they actually do well.
Maybe there is a little honesty here that experience can help somewhat in qualifying, but in my opinion, if the performance is not good, then one will never be able to qualify. By the way, I didn't mention Real Madrid here, you made a slight mistake in that regard. From what I've seen, Manchester United's opponent in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League is the Lion Club, so they probably don't need to worry too much about getting out of this round. In one respect I find some similarities between these two teams, such as Manchester United playing poorly in the EPL, similarly Lyon Club is heading in the same direction.
